A day after the Election Commission issued a show-cause notice to Union minister Anurag Thakur and West Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Verma for their incendiary comments during campaigning for the Delhi polls, the poll panel has ordered the removal of the leaders from the list of star campaigners of the BJP. The poll panel had found them in violation of the Model Code of Conduct and has given them time till 12 pm on January 30 to reply. BJP leader Anurag Thakur is in the dock for his 'goli maaro' slogans raised by him at an election rally in Rithala. Another notice was sent Parvesh Verma who said that what had happened in Kashmir with Kashmiri Pandits could also happen in Delhi, warning that lakhs of anti-CAA protesters in Shaheen Bagh could enter homes to rape and kill women.
