E-cigarettes are not a safe alternative for smokers: WHO report

Jul 31, 2019 09:04 IST

The World Health Organisation's latest report on the global tobacco epidemic has warned against the use of vapes and e-cigarettes, proclaiming that these products are 'undoubtedly harmful'. The report added that while the level of risks of using these products have not been estimated, e-cigarette sales must be regulated in order to prevent them from becoming a gateway addiction for young people.
