BMW is all set to launch the 5 Series facelift in India on June 24, 2021. The luxury sedan is coming to India about a year after its global debut and gets its first comprehensive upgrade since 2017. Upgrades include a revised kidney grille design, new headlights that now get adaptive laser light technology and new L-shaped DRLs. There are new LED taillights as well on the car. The bumpers have been revised for a more aggressive look with larger air curtains. Upgrades to the cabin are notable but subtle with the new iDrive 7 infotainment system. There&rsquo;s also the new 12.3-inch instrument panel and an equally large infotainment display as an option. The standard model will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen that packs BMW navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, along with new graphics. The seats are also draped in new leatherette upholstery with perforation. Engine options will likely include the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol and diesel, and the 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel on the 530d M Sport.

Yamaha Motor India has launched the new FZ-X, neo-retro commuter motorcycle based on the Yamaha FZ 150. Prices for the new Yamaha FZ-X start at Rs. 1.17 lakh ex-showroom. The bike gets a circular bi-functional LED headlight with an integrated DRL, a new negative LCD console with a power socket, and an LED taillight. The retro theme extends to the fuel tank design as well. The bike is also loaded on features and gets a side stand engine cut-off switch, single-channel ABS, block pattern tubeless tyres and 17-inch alloy wheels. The bike also gets Bluetooth connectivity that brings a host of connected features via a mobile app. The FZ-X is available in three colours, Metallic Blue, Matt Copper and Matt Black. Power comes from the familiar 149 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 12.4 bhp and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. Yamaha will begin deliveries of the new FZ-X later this month.
