Dr. Kafeel Khan, a doctor from UP, was arrested at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday night by the UP Police Special Task force over a month after allegedly making instigating remarks at the Aligarh Muslim University. Kafeel Khan was travelling to Mumbai to attend an anti-CAA protest. The FIR against Khan for his alleged remarks was filed in December, however it is unclear why the arrest was made 40 days later. Dr Khan was suspended, for his alleged role in the deaths of over 60 children at a government hospital in Gorakhpur. However, a UP government report cleared him of all major accusations.
