US President Donald Trump on Thursday was formally nominated by the Republican Party as candidate for the November polls. Trump gave a rousing acceptance speech to a packed gathering at the White House throwing Covid precautions to the wind. He assailed democrats for supporting the protests against racism, which he dubbed as violent and anarchists. Trump patted himself on the back over response to Covid-19 pandemic when America has seen most deaths in the world. He then went on to claim that he has done more for African Americans than any other president since Abraham Lincoln. He signed off with a promise that the best is yet to come for America.
