Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday said domestic civil aviation operations will restart operations, in a calibrated manner from May 25. In a tweet, the minister wrote, "All airports and air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations from 25 May. SOPs for passenger movement also being separately issued by the ministry." Some airlines have started bookings for flights from June onwards, according to reports. Commercial flights have been suspended since March 25 when the lockdown began to curb the spreading of coronavirus infections.
