The Resident Doctors’ Association of Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on Saturday requested the medical superintendent to vaccinate them with Oxford vaccine Covishield, rather than Covaxin. In a letter to the medical superintendent of the hospital, the association said the resident doctors are apprehensive about the lack of complete trial in case of Covaxin and might not participate in huge numbers, thus defeating the purpose of vaccination. Covaxin's phase 3 trial results have not been made public yet.
