Top seed and World number 1 Novak Djokovic has got an easy draw at the US Open which starts from 31st August in New York. Djokovic plays Bosnia's Damir Dzumhur in the opening match whereas the 2nd seed Dominic Thiem plays Spain's Jaume Munar. In the women's draw, Top-seeded Karolina Pliskova will be up against an unseeded Russian opponent Veronika Kudermetova. Serena Williams who has been handed the 3rd seed will play compatriot Kristie Ahn in the opening round but can run into 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens in the 3rd round. Serena is bidding to win the US Open for the 7th time, is also chasing a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title after losing her last four major finals.
