Disney+ to launch in India on April 3

Apr 04, 2020 07:03 IST

Disney+ streaming service is all set to launch in India on April 3rd, a week after its initial release date. The company had earlier postponed the dates after the IPL 2020 tournament was rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unlike international markets, where it’s been launched as an independent service, Disney+ content will feature in India’s popular OTT service, Hotstar. All DIsney+ originals, including The Mandalorian, will be available to Disney+ Hotstar Premium users, the subscription for which costs ₹1,499 per year.
