Jul 30, 2020 13:05 IST

In a relief for Delhi residents, the Aam Aadmi govt has decided to reduce VAT on diesel that will bring down the fuel prices in the Capital. Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced that the tax on diesel will be cut from 30% to 16.75%, which will reduce price in Delhi by over 8 rupees from Rs 82 to Rs 73.64 per litre. Prices of diesel have been going up in the recent days and for the first time it became costlier than petrol in the capital.
