Portuguese defender Ruben Dias made a move to Manchester City from Benfica on Tuesday. The 23-year-old signed a 6-year contract with the English Premier League side and is worth an eye-watering $83.6-million. Dias joined Benfica in 2018 and almost immediately made it to the first team. He also made his international debut in 2018 and was a key member in Portugal's UEFA Nations League winning team. The move to join the Pep Guardiola led club was on the cards after City were thrashed 5-2 at home by Leicester City. Dias' move also took place after the exchange of Nicolas Otamendi who joined Benfica $17.6-million.
