The life of a diabetic may be full of eating and drinking restrictions, but there are a few beverages that they can afford to sip while maintaining a healthy blood sugar level. This involves picking unsweetened teas over drinks that are full of sugar and milk.

There are several tea varieties that are carb-free and sugar-free, making them healthy for consumption by diabetics.

As per the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), one cup of green tea has 0 carbohydrates, 0 grams of sugar, and just about 2.4 calories, making it a very healthy drink!

BLACK TEA
