If there's one optimistic thing that 2020 has brought in, it's the world's first Happiness Museum in Denmark. As per the United Nations' annual World Happiness Report, Denmark often ranks among the top when it comes to listing the World's happiest countries.
Understandably, the Happiness Research Institute, which is the brainchild behind the museum, decided to open its doors in the middle of a pandemic as all of us could do with a little bit of happiness right now.
It debuted on the 14th of July, in a cozy 240-square-meter space in Copenhagen's historic center, with all the precautionary measures in place. The museum has a cap on the number of visitors as well as a one-way traffic system.
The museum explores the science behind happiness and has interactive experiences that you can indulge in. It also houses artefacts of 'joy' that people from across the globe have sent in.
It hopes to show people the silver lining on even the stormiest of days.
