Delhi HC: 50 can pray at Nizamudddin Markaz during Ramzan

Apr 15, 2021 17:52 IST | By Editorji News Desk

The Delhi High Court on Thursday said fifty people will be allowed to offer prayers during Ramzan inside the Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi. People can offer prayers five times a day on the first floor of the Nizamuddin Markaz.

However this is subjected to disaster management rules. The Centre had initially agreed to let devotees back into the Markaz during Ramzan.

However later the Centre and Delhi Police told the court that no gathering or congregation can be permitted as these have been prohibited by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) since April 10.
