The Indira Gandhi International Airport is the world's fastest growing airport over the last 4 years, according to a report by Delhi International Airport Limited. It handled 63.5 million passengers in 2017 and is predicted to hit 95 million passengers in 2023. Delhi's growth rate beat South Korea, China & Dubai. According to DIAL, 12 new scheduled airlines approximately & 10 international sectors have been introduced over the past 4 years. The focus will now be on the terminal, airport capacity enhancement & the increase in flights per day among others.
