A Delhi court has dismissed a plea seeking an injunction against the airing of Netflix's web series Hasmukh. The court in its order told the petitioner lawyer Abhay Gupta that he cannot claim that he is defamed by the web series as the expression used in 'Hasmukh' are general and not against any particular person. The report further adds, the court said that in a free & democratic society, there is freedom of speech and expression & remarks in comedy web series 'Hasmukh' are to be seen as comedy or satire and not to be taken literally.
