After Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bengaluru, the Delhi Airport is now taking the paperless route. The airport is rolling out a new biometric-based self boarding facility, making the entire process much faster and secure. The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) and Vistara Airlines have come together for the trial launch. To use the new facility, passengers will have to enter their official ID, biometric data and flight details before they enter the terminal. They will then receive a unique DigiYatra ID for all future journeys during the trial period. The service is part of the union government’s Digi Yatra project.
