Decrease in air pollution could help boost memory in kids, according to new research done by the University of Manchester. The research showed that reducing vehicular pollution, mainly nitrogen dioxide, by a fifth can help boost memory in kids by 6.1%. The research particularly focused on the pollutant nitrogen dioxide, which is found in traffic fumes and industrial discharge. The study reiterated evidence that pollution have an adverse impact on the cognitive development of children.
