Dale Steyn announces retirement from all forms of cricket

South Africa's Dale Steyn has decided to hang his boots after almost 20 years of illustrious service. 38-year-old Steyn took to his Twitter to announce his retirement and along with it, he shared a heartfelt note. He wrote, 'It's been 20 years of training, matches, travel, wins and loses, strapped feet, jet lag, joy, and brotherhood. there are too many memories to tell, too many faces to thank.'

To summarise his feelings towards the game, Steyn who started his career in 2003 also quoted lines from the Counting Crows' A long December. Calling his journey a bittersweet one, the iconic bowler expressed his gratefulness and wrote, 'Today I officially retire from the game I love the most' 

In all the 93 Tests, 125 ODIs, and 47 T20Is, Steyn has taken 439, 196, and 64 wickets respectively.
