Cuttack destroys 700 kgs of stale food at the Bali Yatra

The Municipal Corporation of Cuttack kept the hygiene conditions of food in check at Odisha's Bali Yatra which began on 23rd November. About 700 kgs of food has been destroyed in just 4 days by the food inspectors. Some 500 rasgullas, leftover chicken and several rice and milk-based items were the main targets. The city's health officer Umesh Panigrahi told The Telegraph that a fine of Rs 5,000 rupees will be levied on any eatery found guilty of selling stale food.
