Cow dung wars & donkey procession: Covid curbs forgotten during Ugadi

Apr 15, 2021 20:22 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Social distancing forgotten during Ugadi celebrations in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool districts.  Huge crowds gathered for cow dung wars and procession of donkeys during the festivities in Kairuppala village. Locals were divided into two groups who then hurl cow dung at each other. It's an Ugadi tradition in honour of its deity Veerabhadra Swamy.
