Apr 23, 2021 17:02 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Hospitals are running out of beds with a sharp spike in Covid cases. Govt and doctors are advising those testing positive to stay in isolation at home rather than rush to hospitals if they have mild symptoms.

Track your fever and oxygen levels regularly...  this six-minute walk test recommended by the government of India helps you assess your oxygen levels

Here's what it is...

1. Check your Oxygen level (baseline is 94)

2. Walk for six minutes in your room

3. Check oxygen level again

4. If there is a drop of 4 points or more

5. Lie face down on belly to improve Oxygen level

6. Repeat the walk test 2-3 times a day

7. If levels drop more than 4 points after walk

8. Contact your doctor
