'Wolverine' star Hugh Jackman has opened up about how the Covid-19 pandemic will adversely affect Broadway.
Jackman, who has won two Tonys, said that 16 productions were supposed to open in time for 2020 Tony eligibility before the Covid-19 outbreak.
During a conversation with Variety, the actor said that most people don't understand that it takes at least seven years to get to their first broadway preview. The actor added "I know what it takes to get a musical up and running and going, the amount of work that goes into it. It's just devastating."
