Covid-19: Man runs marathon in tiny garden to raise money

Apr 02, 2020 14:28 IST

With all innovative ideas being put to work to raise money for the fight against Covid-19, former English athlete, James Campbell on his 32nd birthday on Wednesday raised more than 18,000 British pounds after he completed a five-hour-long marathon by performing 6-metre shuttles in his small garden. The money will be offered to Britain's National Health Service to help battle against the pandemic. The effort that was labelled as the #6metregardenmarathon was a well-calculated one, Campbell had earlier figured out that he would have to run through his yard at least 7,000 times to reach 42.2 kilometres.
