The number of deaths from the deadly Coronavirus outbreak has climbed to 212 after worst-hit Hubei province reported 42 new fatalities on Friday. The epicentre of the outbreak, Wuhan, on Friday also reported 1,220 new cases, taking the total number of people infected with the disease in China to over 8000. The new figures came hours after the World Health Organization declared a global emergency over the deadly pathogen, which has spread to a number of countries around the world.
