COP24: David Attenborough urges leaders to 'act now'

Dec 03, 2018 21:10 IST

Speaking at the COP24 climate summit in Poland, British filmmaker and naturalist Sir David Attenborough urged leaders from almost 200 countries to act now. He said civilisation is on the brink of collapse. Sir David Attenborough, filmmaker and naturalist, said, "Right now, we are facing a man-made disaster of global scale, our greatest threat in thousands of years – climate change. If we don't take action, the collapse of our civilizations and the extinction of much of the natural world is on the horizon."
