Targeting the govt for its decision to scrap the Amarnath Yatra, the Congress in a press conference said said the entire country is worried and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should make a statement in Parliament on the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said the Yatra has never been curtailed, even when pilgrims were attacked by terrorists. "The Prime Minister should make statements in both houses of Parliament on current situation in Jammu and Kashmir. It's his duty", said Azad. Former Home Minister and Congress leader P. Chidambaram, also targeted the govt saying he had warned the govt against embarking on any misadventures but they did not listen. "The Home Ministry preparing for misadventures past 30 hours", said Chidambaram.
