The Madhya Pradesh police has decided to perform the DNA test of a three-year-old Labrador in Hoshangabad to put an end to an ownership dispute. Journalist Shadab Khan and political activist Kartik Shivhare both claim the dog. Three months ago Khan had lodged a complaint that his dog, named Coco, was missing. Khan had alleged that, Coco, was held captive at Shivhare's home and the activist was trying to sell him off. However, the Shivhare family claims it's their dog named Tiger. Following the dispute, the police has intervened and is conducting a DNA test on the dog.
