After two TV actors, Manmeet Grewal and Preksha Mehta allegedly committed suicide, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has written to broadcasters and producers of TV serials to clear due payments of artistes.
The ministry, in its letter, urged that broadcasters and producers to take a compassionate view of the current situation and ensure that they clear the dues of TV artists engaged in the production of serials & shows up to March 2020.
