There's trouble for Justice Vijaya K Tahilramani, who recently resigned as chief justice of the Madras High Court. The CBI has got a nod from Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi to probe her antecedents based on an alleged adverse intelligence report about her. According to reports, the report refers to alleged irregularities in property transactions and some decisions taken by her as the chief justice of Madras High Court. Justice Tahilramani had also recently made headlines for protesting against her transfer to the Meghalaya High Court. She resigned on Sept 6 after the Supreme Court Collegium declined her request.
