Celebrities demand justice in the Tuticorin custodial deaths case

Apart from Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Taapsee Pannu, Riteish Deshmukh and many others, South stars also demanded justice for the father-son duo who were allegedly killed due to police brutality in Tuticorin.

Actress Samantha Akkineni shared the images of Jayaraj and Bennicks on her Instagram story and wrote, 'Police brutality needs to stop, this is inhumane and will only result in more loss of faith in the system that is meant to protect'.

Kajal Aggarwal shared a video recorded by singer-host Suchithra and demanded justice for their family, she called the incident 'grotesque and gruesome'.

Shocked by the horrific details, Malavika Mohanan tweeted saying she was 'horrified and numb to hear what happened with Jayaraj and Fenix'.

Rakul Preet Singh said 'this kind of brutality is inhuman and no one has the right to treat another life in this manner, this should not be tolerated'.
