In another one of its steps towards becoming environmental-friendly, Indian Railways has installed benches made with recycled plastic at Mumbai's&nbsp;Churchgate station. The benches are made from plastic waste collected in a cleaning drive carried out by the Western Railways at its stations.&nbsp;Nearly 109 tonnes of plastic waste was collected. Almost 40 to 50 kilos of soft plastic went into the making of one bench. These seats are water-proof and ideal for outdoor locations.
