The US has asked Pakistan to abide by its UN commitments to deny terrorists safe haven. US State Department comment comes a day after India handed over a dossier to Pakistan on specific details of involvement of the Jaish-e-Muhammed in the Pulwama terror attack. A Us State Department spokesperson said that cross-border terrorism, such as the recent attack on CRPF on February 14, poses a grave threat to the security of the region. The US reiterated its call for Pakistan to deny terrorists safe haven and block their access to funds. The US also asked India and Pakistan to "cease all cross-border military activity" and hold direct communication to de-escalate the situation.
