The CBI raided at 22 locations in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi on Wednesday in connection with an illegal mining case. This also includes former UP Minister Gayatri Prajapati's Amethi home. A case was registered against him in March on directions of the Allahabad High Court. Prajapati was Minister of Mining in Akhilesh Yadav-led SP govt and is accused illegal mining in the state but he is currently in jail on charges of gang raping a woman.
