CBI officer probing Asthana challenges his transfer

CBI officer AK Bassi, who was investigating Special Director Rakesh Asthana, has moved Supreme Court challenging his transfer. Supreme Court however has refused to give an urgent hearing. Bassi has said that he has incriminating evidence against Asthana in bribery case and has asked the top court to call for evidence of technical surveillance. Bassi has also sought a Special Investigating Team to investigate charges against Asthana.
