Puducherry CM V.Narayanasamy has arrived at the assembly ahead of the floor test. Puducherry is set to hold a floor test on Monday after a spate of resignations over the past week brought down the ruling Congress government strength in the 33-member legislative assembly. Two more MLAs - one from the Congress and the other from its partner DMK resigned on the eve of the floor test. It was a major setback to chief minister V Narayanasamy. With the two resignations, the Congress government's strength in the Puducherry legislative assembly has fallen to 12.
