Boxer trains with cement & iron bars to keep Olympic dream alive

When the coronavirus outbreak hit Argentina and the local government imposed a strict lockdown, Olympic boxer Yamil Peralta was forced to improvise a gym into a garage and get a job in order to not give up his Olympic dream. Without a professional gym to train in, he decided to buy cement, sand, cans, bottles and iron bars and make his own. His new routine starts at 5:30 in the morning, when he goes to work at a waste management company. After that he returns home to his father-in-law's backyard to train until the evening. The news of the lockdown came a huge blow for Peralta as it bans amateur and professional sporting activities. He has represented his country twice at the Olympic Games, and was preparing for his third and also to earn the South American boxing title in Colombia.
