A massive fire broke out at the furniture market in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh on Sunday evening. Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. Images showed police and fire officials on the site trying to douse the fire. The fire erupted about 500 metres from the epicentre of the anti-CAA protests. The area had seen sit-in by thousands of protesters, mostly women, for over 100 days. The area was vacated after most of the protesters withdrew in wake of the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown announced across India.
