Black Day: chakka jam on 100th Day of Farmer Protests in Delhi

Mar 06, 2021 09:29 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Calling it 'Black Day', the 6th of March will be marked the 100th day of protest for the farmer agitation against the Centre's three farm laws.

The protesting farmers will block the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway for five hours on Saturday, at 11 am to 3pm. Farmer leaders have reiterated that the chakka jam will be peaceful.

Despite several rounds of talks between the government and the farmer unions, the two sides have failed to reach an agreement, and the farmers have refused to budge from the protest sites on the birders of Delhi until the three laws are repealed.

Security has been beefed up ahead of farmers' plan to block KMP Expressway.
