BJP, Sena’s ‘Maha’ seat sharing pact today: report

Sep 29, 2019 11:15 IST

Ruling BJP and Shiv Sena are likely to announce seat sharing pact for Maharashtra today, India Today reported. The announcement for October 21 assembly election is also likely to be made during a joint press conference as the day marks the beginning of nine-day long Navratri festival. On Saturday, Uddhav Thackeray said that talks with BJP chief Amit Shah were progressing well and a final decision would be announced soon. Uddhav Thackeray's statement comes against the backdrop of BJP top brass repeatedly stressing that incumbent CM Devendra Fadnavis would helm the state once again.
