BJP leader and former MLA Krishna Hegde has alleged that the woman who accused NCP's Dhananjay Munde of sexual harassment, had also tried to honey trap, blackmail and extort money from him. In a letter to the police, Hegde claimed that the woman had been calling and messaging him since 2010 and "coaxing" him to have a relationship with her. He also said she had tried to contact him earlier this month. Hegde said he wrote the letter after he came to know of the allegations made against Dhananjay Munde.The BJP leader has asked the Mumbai Police immediately investigate the matter.
