Young Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw has been ruled out of the 1st test VS Australia after he twisted his ankle while playing the practice game VS Cricket Australia XI in Sydney. The incident took place on day 3 when Shaw got injured while fielding near the boundary ropes. The 19 year old was carried off the field and rushed to a hospital for scans. Shaw returned some time later with a heavily bandaged ankle and crutches. Shaw remember had scored 66 while batting in the practice game and was supposed to bat in the opening slot for India in the 1st test which starts next Thursday.
