Former India footballer Bhaichung Bhutia on Monday in a heartfelt gesture offered shelter to the migrant workers of Sikkim understanding their problems after India announced a 21 day lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19. Bhaichung said that in his unfinished building in Gangtok at least 100 workers could accommodate. The 43-year-old added that he would also provide basic ration to the people. Migrant workers across India, desperate to return home are the worst hit by the nationwide lockdown.
