Bengaluru opens its first currency museum!

Feb 17, 2020 13:08 IST

Bengaluru just opened the 'Museum of Indian Paper Money', which is South India's first currency museum. The museum is owned by the world's biggest collector of Indian paper money, Rezwan Razack. It is located at the Prestige Falcon Towers on Brunton Road and features bank notes dating back to the 1800s! Over 700 artefacts collected over a span of 20 years have been displayed. A specially-controlled environment ensures that the notes do not wither.
