In a shocking incident, a BJP MLA from West Bengal was found hanging in a market near his home on Monday morning. Police said that Debendra Nath Ray, who was MLA from Hemtabad reserved seat in North Dinajpur district, had died due to suicide and a note was found on him. The BJP had earlier claimed that the MLA was killed and hanged later. The party blamed the ruling Trinamool. BJP president JP Nadda tweeted that the killing was proof of gunda raj in Mamata's Bengal. Ray had contested on a CPM ticket but had switched over to the BJP last year after the Lok Sabha elections.
