125 years after brutalities by a Belgian king, Congo has got a note of regret from the country. The King of Belgium has sent his "deepest regrets" to the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo for the sufferings his nation inflicted on the former colony. But King Philippe stopped shot of apologising for his ancestor Leopold II's atrocities. Historians estimate that under Leopold's misrule between 1885 and 1908, 10 million people died in Congo.
