After much reluctance to travel to Brisbane for the 4th Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy in Australia, it is learnt that Team India faced a lot of inconvenience at the hotel they are staying in. According to a report in the Times of India, the team was denied basic facilities like room service, a chance to move out of their rooms and also laundry services. After the team raised an alarm to the BCCI, the officials intervened and spoke to their counterparts in Cricket Australia. Normal services have resumed as reported but the team is still not allowed to use the swimming pool in their hotel and has been given a team room for meetings. Due to strict quarantine regulations, Team India was reluctant to travel to Brisbane but some last-minute assurances from the hosts made the BCCI change its mind.
