Defending Champions Bayern Munich thrashed Italian side Lazio 4-1 in the 1st leg of the round of 16 tie in Champions League in Rome. The home advantage didn't matter for Lazio as they could only score once during the game and that too in the 2nd half. For Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski became the league's 3rd highest goal scorer with his 9th min strike. 17-year-old Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane also got on the scoresheet as Lazio also contributed to the scoreline with an own goal. The 4-1 away win gives Bayern a huge advantage ahead of the 2nd leg clash which will be played on 17th March.
