The battle for 10 seats in Haryana is heating up as the state gears up to vote on May 12 with Delhi. The main battle is being fought between 4 players - BJP, Congress, Abhay Chautala's Indian National Lok Dal and the new party floated by another Chautala offspring Dushyant – the Jannayak Janata Party In 2014, the Modi wave brought 7 seats to BJP's kitty. INLD won 2 seats and Congress 1. Haryana's politics for decades remained centred around 3 Lals -- Devilal, Bansilal and Bhjanlal. In later years, other political families also created their space in the state's politics. Now, the three Lals may not be in picture, but their political heirs are still a defining feature of Haryana politics.
