The winners of the 74th BAFTA Awards are out.
American drama ‘Nomadland’ won four prizes including Best Picture at the British Academy Film Awards, which were handed out during a largely remote and socially distant ceremony. ‘Nomadland’ filmmaker Chloe Zhao became the only second woman, and the first woman of color, to win the BAFTA for best director.
Frances McDormand was named Best Actress for her performance in ‘Nomadland’, while the Best Actor trophy went to Anthony Hopkins for playing a man grappling with dementia in ‘The Father.’

An emerging star, 19-year-old Bukky Bakray, won the EE Rising Star award, chosen by public vote, for 'Rocks', a coming-of-age drama set in London.
